My opinion matters, I was 9 when the Mass was taken away from me. My family so shocked by the goings on that they all moved across country to be together perhaps thinking the world was going to end. It's essential to acknowledge that the Old Mass and the Novus Ordo Mass are completely different forms of worship. The two are not in any sense the same and they both herald two different forms of Catholic religion. It is not possible to say truthfully that the NO is a modern or updated form of the TLM.
Because of this, the two forms cannot be interchanged without discrepancy and confusion and assuming the two can be combined into one is simply delusional.
Pope Leo would be well advised to recognise this and stop any further attempt to replace the TLM with the NO.
