Thanks. So refreshing to hear clear unambiguous Catholic teaching. SG9 report will be condemned by the Holy See in future, as will Fiducia Supplicans - it is just a question of time.
Bishop Athanasius certainly lives up to his namesake. I am saddened that so many faithful Catholics spend so much time attacking Archbishop Lefebvre and the SSPX when Sodomites are literally nesting in Rome and spewing heresy and blasphemy. The SSPX are the vanguard of the true Church, and Bishop Athanasius is a voice crying out in the wilderness. May the Lord empower him, and may the Church be aired out of this smoke of Satan
I earnestly pray that Bishop Schneider doesn’t get Viganoed, or Stricklanded. I wish he hadn’t dodged the Vatican II question, but otherwise it was a great interview.
The sooner the Church recognizes Vatican II as the beginning of the end of Catholicism, the sooner it can get back to doing God’s work.
“I will put enmities between thee and the woman and thy seed and her seed; she shall crush thy head and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel.” ( Douay -Rheims)
Her Immaculate Heart WILL TRIUMPH!
Pray for us O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen
“In like manner do these persons patch together old wives’ fables, and then endeavor, by violently drawing away from their proper connection, words, expressions, and parables whenever found, to adapt the oracles of God to their baseless fictions” (Adversus haereses, I,7.1)”
IMO the root of our modern day heresies is the rejection of the true account of Supernatural Creation given to us by God in Genesis in favor of the ever changing musings of modern “science” because our Catholic intellectuals fear being thought of as “behind the times.” Teilhard de Chardin and Fr Zahm come to mind as calling into question Holy Scripture regarding Supernatural Creation and with that the Doctrine of the Creation of Adam and Eve and Original Sin is denied and subverted and eventually everything in our True Catholic Faith is cast aside in a domino effect until we arrive at today’s major apostasy and falling away from the Faith. Lord give us eyes to see and ears to hear Your Truth re the literal historical truth told to us by God Himself in Genesis.
The report is founded upon an erroneous theory of the origins of homosexuality propounded by the school of secularist psychology. Any of its appeals to Sacred Scripture amount to erroneous proof texting unworthy of any faithful theologian. Its bold repudiation of established Christian understanding of same-sex attraction is scandalous. The teaching of the Catechism is appropriate clear and concise. Those shouldering this difficulty amount to about 3% of the population. The Catechism makes abundantly clear that these individuals are to be respected while holding intimate behavior generated by same-sex attraction is sinful. All sin requires any of us to turn from sin and toward Christ in repentance. It is not the attraction which is sinful, it is acting upon it.. All the rest of us -- are required to practice abstinence, not only homosexuals.
The synodalists perpetrate a reckless attack upon persons shouldering same-sex attraction who are attempting to live lives in accordance with the Gospel. It is an exhibition of pastoral malpractice which defies description. One could characterize it as a knife in the back.
But it can serve a purpose by exposing the trainwreck of the post-conciliar epoch and how theology, pastoral practice, the Catholic academy has devolved into a tool of accommodation to secularism. Let's grow up, cast aside neurotic compulsion, and take consolation in the life of Grace.
Should the episcopate refrain from calling for a depth ecclesial examination of conscience regarding this assault on souls it will reap in history a bitter critique, and from eternity one far worse.
Excellent interview and analysis. There is too much emphasis on homosexual v heterosexual. That is a meaningless distinction. The bottom line is that ANY sexual intercourse outside the bonds of marriage (which is defined as between a man and a woman each of whom is free to marry according to the Church) is violative of the Sixth and Ninth Commandments. If we keep focusing on one type of violation then they get to pretend they are being picked on. They are in the same boat as those who are divorced and civilly remarried without receiving a declaration of nullity, as single people who choose to live together and play house and as married people who disregard their marriage vows. There is no difference among them. Our shepherds need to speak out forcefully against all of this behavior so that they may all confess, do penance and repair their relationships with God. Their mortal souls depend on it. May we all be led to the Sacred Heart of Jesus by the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I don't think that is quite true. As Bishop Schneider notes, the creation of humanity as male and female with the command to be fruitful and multiply is central to God's purpose for us. The fact that homosexual couples cannot multiply naturally is crucial. As for there being too much emphasis on homosexual vs heterosexual, that is true mainly of liberals inside and outside the Church who are combatting the Church's teachings and divine revelation itself. I can count on one finger the number of homilies I have heard criticizing homosexuality. I do appreciate the compassion that underlies your viewpoint, but maybe fraternal charity requires speaking truth more than avoiding it. You might read Dan Mattson's courageous book Why I Don't Call Myself Gay. He does not shrink from Catholic natural theology even if he has paid a high price for his adherence to it.
I don’t think we disagree on anything. I completely agree that the homosexual ‘couples’ being unable to procreate is crucial but heterosexual couples are not to procreate outside the bonds of marriage either for “man is to leave his father and his mother and cleave to his wife and they shall become one flesh”. (Gen. 3:24) To the extent that this is occurring outside the context of marriage it is contrary to what God has ordained and the Church has taught. I absolutely agree that the Church needs to provide clear, unvarnished teaching for the sake of all our souls. Christ wasn’t worried about hurting anybody’s feelings when He preached. Some found his teaching to be difficult to hear - “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?” (Jn. 6:60) - and they walked away from Him. That is the choice each of us has to make. Every time I sin, I am walking away from Him but thanks be to God He is there waiting for me in the quiet of the confessional. He is waiting there for everyone who chooses to turn back to Him. Gos bless you!!
The Catholic faith teaches the faith given by Christ to His apostles. The word of God recorded in the Bible is infallible and part of the deposit of faith. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Prevost — and Bergoglio before him — publicly give credence to other ways being efficacious unto salvation. They don’t exhibit any inclination or urgency to declare the truth to others of the necessity of Jesus Christ to fulfill our reason for being here (“to know God and to love Him”). How exactly can they be considered Catholic with such public defects in the faith (whatever it is) that they’ve professed?
And Prevost is demonstrably an antipope, as the product of a defective and illicitly constituted conclave that violated the Canon Law governing its convocation and conduct.
We do not pray for the Church and its faithful enough. Its become totally untolerable. God, help us. You are our only hope. Come quickly lest we all perish. 🙏
Thank God for Bishop Schneider and all those who are struggling to keep the True Teachings of Our Lord in the Church! May the Divine Mercy be in our souls!

We’ll find out. We were created with an immortal soul. Time? We have all the time in the world.
Excellent interview. I hope and pray that Bishop Schneider will continue speaking out more forcefully as all the awfulness of the Vatican develops.

After Vatican II, the serpent stopped whispering outside the Church and started speaking through her supposed shepherds.

The old humorous query of assurance “is the Pope Catholic” has lost its charm.
This was a very good article. It also shows that may be the SSPX is not crazy and thinking that there is still a state of emergency in the church.
I usually retort that The Pope is always Catholic, so what does thatake Prevost?
Could you elaborate a bit more so I can understand your meaning? Thank you.

What the Fiducia Supplicans is wrong with Pope Leo and his merry band of homoheretics??
Thank God for Bishop Schneider and all those who are struggling to keep the True Teachings of Our Lord in the Church! May the Divine Mercy be in our souls!
Very clear (unambiguous) and most charitable report. Thank you so much!
